Six posters and one conference presentation related to the SUCCESS project were presented at the 3rd Workshop on Intelligent IoT Services and Applications 2026, held in Panama City from February 2–4, 2026.

Project coordinator Radu Dobrin presented SUCCESS — A Framework for Sustainable Coproduction and Collaboration in Education and Research, discussing recent experiences between Latin American higher education institutions (HEIs) and Mälardalen University — through The Smart Room, a collaborative IT hub (Smart Labs) facilitating co-production between academia and industry.

Five projects in which students from Panama, Colombia and Montenegro collaborated remotely in the smart rooms were presented as posters:

• Hand Gesture Recognition System with IWR1443 Radar
• Remote Health Monitoring System: A Cross-Border Collaboration on Contactless Vital-Sign Sensing
• Development of a Bionic Robotic Arm for High Mobility Prosthetic Devices with Advanced Interaction
• Sync Activity
• Virtual Greeter — Easy Smart Room Interaction

An additional poster presented a bachelor thesis titled Development of a System for Energy-Efficient Lighting Behaviors.

Through these activities, the SUCCESS project makes an important contribution to its dissemination goals.
